Azo dyes are the largest category of dyes used in industries. Some Azo Colourants, under reductive conditions, release “Banned Amines” which is one of the restricted chemical groups. Such colourants are banned for usage in finished apparel and footwear.
This training course will help learners to gain an understanding of Azo dyes and the release of Banned Amines. The training also provides an overview of Global legislations regulating the use of Banned amines. It also discusses the actions required to be taken by a facility to ensure compliance. Sampling and testing for Banned Amines and issues regarding false positive are also explained in this training course.
The duration of the training is 60 minutes. Learners get to take away additional resource material for future reference. A ‘Certificate of Achievement’ is awarded to the learners on successful completion of the training and exam.
