There are approximately 8,000 chemicals being used in the Textile and Leather supply chain. Some of these chemicals are hazardous to Human Health and the Environment and hence restricted for use. Establishing a System that helps you manage Chemicals is called a Chemical Management System (CMS). A robust CMS reduces the risk of harmful exposures to Workers, environment and customers.
This Training Course on 'Chemical Management for Compliance' will help learners to enhance their Chemical Management performance and help reduce risks to their Organisation, customers, workers and the Environment. The Training course is designed provides guidelines and will handhold the learners to implement a robust system for managing Chemicals and their hazards.
The duration of this training course is around 60 minutes. The training is followed by an exam to assess the learner’s knowledge. On successfully achieving the benchmark score of 75% the learner will be awarded a ‘Certificate of Achievement’. The course also offers downloadable resource materials that can be saved and used as future reference material by the learner.
