Welcome to this course on the ‘Higg FEM V4.0 - Energy and GHG Section’. This course is designed to provide an overview of Energy and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) management and how to track, monitor and reduce energy consumption and resultant GHG emissions.
This training course defines the classification of energy sources and categories of GHG Emissions. Learners will be able to identify their facility’s energy sources and establish an energy tracking program. The training outlines important energy related concepts such as Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs), Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) and Carbon Off-sets. Learners will also get a detailed understanding of reporting their Energy Use based on their purchased electricity, purchased renewables, onsite renewables and relevant EACs.
The Training program is run entirely online in the form of an audio-visual learning. You will be able to take the training at your convenient time. The Technical Content in the Training is interspersed with Activities, Knowledge Checks, and downloadable Resource Materials.
You will be given access to the training course for 6 Months from the moment you launch the course.
The duration of this course is 60-90 minutes.
