Overview

Welcome to this course on Level 3 of the ‘Waste’ section based on Higg FEM V4.0. This module aims to assist facilities in achieving Level 3 in the Higg FEM Waste Section.

This training course covers the importance of validating the final disposal and treatment of all non-hazardous waste. Demonstrating waste disposal using preferred methods and facility’s willingness to participate in a circular economy system are also discussed in this course.

The training program is conducted entirely online in the form of audio-visual learning. Learners will be able to take the training at their convenient time. The Technical Content in the Training is interspersed with Activities, Knowledge Checks, and downloadable Resource Materials.

Learners will be given access to the training course for 6 Months from the moment you launch the course.

The duration of this course is around 60 minutes.

Structure

This course will provide the participant with an outline on the details required to be filled in the Waste Section of the Higg FEM self-assessment. Additionally, the following topics will be covered in the Training-

·         Validating the final disposal and treatment of all non-hazardous waste.

·         Demonstrating waste disposal using one of the preferred methods listed in the Higg FEM.

·         Demonstrating willingness to participate in a circular economy system.
