ZDHC has developed the ZDHC Chemical Management System Technical Industry Guide (TIG), to develop facility’s understanding of the Chemical Management Framework. It provides practical guidance for the implementation of Chemical management systems, minimum requirements and best practices.
The leather industry is a global manufacturing sector that produces the raw, processed, and finished materials used to make leather goods. Animal hides are used to produce the leather. Various chemicals are used in Leather process. These chemicals can pose a threat to human health and the environment.
NimkarTek’s CMS TIG Training for the Leather Industry aims to provide increased knowledge and understanding regarding chemicals management training, along with guidance and tips for practical implementation in leather-based manufacturing facility. The Program is run entirely online in the form of 9 Training Courses. The Technical Content is interspersed with Activities, Case Studies and downloadable Resource Materials.
Each course is 45 to 60 minutes long. Participants have 30 days to complete all the Courses.
The course is self-paced and online so it is entirely up to the participant to manage their own time to ensure they finish the course content within 30 days from the Launch.
In order to get the best out of this Program, participants are expected to engage in all Course interactivities such as Exercises, Quizzes and Case Studies.
Participants will get a Certificate from the ZDHC Academy on successfully completing the training.
