PFCs are highly stable man-made compounds. These are widely used for their oil and water repellency properties. However, these substances are identified to have adverse impacts it can have on human health and/or the environment.
In this training course, learners will gain thorough understanding of PFCs and its sources in the textile industry. Learners will understand the application, evaluation and concerns of PFCs. Global legislations restricting the use of PFCs and an insight about its current safer alternatives are also explained in this course.
The duration of this training course is around 60 minutes. The training is followed by an exam to assess the learner’s knowledge. On successfully achieving the benchmark score of 75% the learner will be awarded with a ‘Certificate of Achievement’.
The course also offers downloadable resource materials that can be downloaded and saved for future reference.
