Restricted Substances are those chemical substances that banned or restricted from usage as they are known to have intrinsic hazardous properties that can harm human health or the environment. These chemical substances are listed in RSL or MRSL documents.
This training course will explain the definition, purpose, and scope of Restricted Substances in Textile manufacturing process. It gives an overview of Major Restricted Groups, it’s harmful effects and potential sources of these substances in the Textile Supply Chain. Learners will also get to understand the difference between MRSL document and RSL Document. The course also explains the common terms used in these documents and the limit values of the restricted substances.
