This course on Understanding GHS is based on the United Nations Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (Revision 9, 2021) or the GHS Purple Book.
The learner will understand the following topics through this course -
- Need, purpose and scope of GHS
- Hazard Classification
- Hazard Communication Methods - Labelling and Safety Data Sheets
The technical content is interspersed with Activities, Case Studies, and downloadable Resource Materials.
The duration of this training 120 minutes. Participants have 30 days to complete this training course. The course is self-paced and online, so it is entirely up to the participant to manage their own time.
