This course on UN Transport of Dangerous Goods is based on the United Nations Recommendation Model of Dangerous Goods (Revision 22, 2021) or the Orange Book.
Chemicals and biological substances are regularly shipped by various modes of transport like roadways, railways, waterways, and airways. Many products might pose a danger while being transported.
In order to minimize the risks associated with transporting dangerous goods, and to keep the public and the environment safe, everyone involved in the shipping of dangerous goods must learn and follow the requirements of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations.
This training course provides an understanding on the classification of dangerous goods into the 9 hazard classes.
Through this course the learner will also be able to understand the elements of Dangerous goods list and the required measures for the safe transport of dangerous goods.
The technical content is interspersed with Activities, Case Studies, and downloadable Resource Materials.
The duration of this training 120 minutes. Participants have 30 days to complete this training course.
The course is self-paced and online, so it is entirely up to the participant to manage their own time.
