Phthalates are man-made organic chemicals that are used to improve its flexibility and durability of plastics in order to prevent it from cracking. Due to its hazardous nature it is classified as once of the chemicals that are capable of causing harm to human health and the environment.
This training course on Phthalates is designed to provide learners an understanding on fundamental aspects of phthalates including basic chemistry, and its applications in the textile manufacturing industry. This course will also discuss the global regulations and restriction on permissible limits of Phthalates and criteria for restriction. Learners will also get an overview of safer alternatives to replace Phthalates.
Duration of the training is 60 minutes. The training is developed in an interactive format with additional resource materials that can be downloaded and kept for later reference. Learners will receive a ‘Certificate of Achievement’ on successfully completing the training and the exam.
