Overview

Welcome to the Higg FEM V4.0 – Level 3 ‘Air Emissions’ section. On completing this course learners will gain an understanding of the requirements for facilities to achieve Level 3 in the Higg FEM Air Emissions section.

This training course talks about the replacement of the refrigerant gases used in facilities with alternative refrigerants that have a reduced impact on the environment. Demonstrating progress on the facility’s implementation plan to reduce air emissions and the implementation of Best Available Technology to minimize emissions from significant emissions sources are also discussed in this course. 

The training program is entirely run online in the form of audio-visual learning. You will be able to take the training at your convenient time. The Technical content in the training is interspersed with Activities, Knowledge Checks, and downloadable Resource Materials.

You will be given access to the training course for 6 Months from the moment you launch the course.

The duration of this course is around 60 minutes.

Structure

This course will provide the participant with an overview of details required to achieve Level 3 in the Higg FEM Air Emissions Section. The following topics will be covered in the Training –

• Demonstrating progress on implementation plans to reduce air emissions.
• Replacing refrigerant gases used onsite with alternative refrigerants/coolants that have a reduced impact on the environment.
• Demonstrating the implementation of BAT to minimize emissions to air from all significant emissions sources at the facility.
