Overview

Welcome to this E-Learning Program on ‘Environmental Management System’ section (Level 2). This online training course has been designed to provide suppliers with an overview of the requirements to achieve level 2 in the Higg FEM Environmental Management System Section. This training developed by experts with 20+ years of experience in the Textile industry is based on the ‘How to Higg Guide V4.0’. The course focuses on the importance of environmental management system review and technical competency necessary for the staff managing EMS at the facility. It also highlights the significances of communicating Facility’s environmental impacts and performance with employees. The Training program is run entirely online in the form of an audio-visual learning. The Technical Content in the Training is interspersed with Activities, Knowledge Checks. This Training Program must be taken in a linear manner. Please note, you have 180 days to complete this course. The duration of this course is 45 – 60 minutes.

Structure

This course will provide you with a brief overview of the details required to achieve level 2 in the Higg FEM EMS Section. The following topics will be covered in the Training- After completing this training, participants would understand–

• Management review of EMS
• Qualification and knowledge required by EMS Team members
• Facility’s procedure to communicate its environmental programs, performance, and strategy with all of its employees
